Kaal Sarp Dosha and Rahu–Ketu Themes

Kaal Sarp Dosha is said to occur when all seven planets, from the Sun to Saturn, sit between Rahu and Ketu in the birth chart. It is widely discussed in India, though some astrologers do not accept it as a classical dosha. This page also covers broader Rahu–Ketu themes.

Types

Twelve types are named, based on the house of Rahu (for example Anant, Kulik, Vasuki). The meaning differs by type and by the other placements in the chart.
