This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies sansthaan.com uses, why, and how you can control them. In short: we use only the essential cookies needed to make our verification and inquiry forms work. We do not use advertising, retargeting, social-media or analytics cookies.
1.What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device. Similar technologies, such as browser local storage, do the same job. They help a site remember something between page views, for example that you have already verified your number. Cookies set by the site you are visiting are “first-party” cookies; those set by another service are “third-party” cookies.
2.Our approach
- We use strictly necessary cookies only. They cannot be switched off in our systems because the verification and inquiry forms would stop working without them.
- We do not use analytics, advertising, retargeting, profiling or social-media tracking cookies or pixels.
- Our fonts and images are served from our own website, not from third-party font or tracking services.
- If we ever add any optional cookie, we will update this policy and ask for your consent before it is set.
3.Cookies and storage we use
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
sn_pub | First-party cookie, strictly necessary (HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax, Secure on HTTPS) | Keeps your session while you verify your WhatsApp number and fill in the inquiry form, so we know the number was verified. It holds a random session identifier, not your name or details. | Session cookie: removed when you close your browser. The verified status on our server is valid for a short time (currently 45 minutes). |
sn_cookie_ack | First-party local storage, strictly necessary | Remembers that you have seen and dismissed our cookie notice so we do not show it on every page. | Until you clear your browser storage |
sn_admin | First-party cookie, strictly necessary (HttpOnly, SameSite=Strict) | Used only by our own staff to stay signed in to the administration area. Visitors never receive this cookie. | Session, with a 12-hour server limit |
4.Third-party services
We do not place third-party cookies ourselves. However, when you use or are sent to certain services, they may set their own cookies under their own policies:
- Payment gateway (for example Cashfree Payments): when you open a payment link you are on the gateway’s page, which sets cookies it needs to process and secure the payment.
- WhatsApp (Meta): when you click a WhatsApp link, you leave our site and WhatsApp’s own policy and cookies apply.
- Content delivery and security (for example Cloudflare), if enabled for our site: may set security cookies to detect bots and protect the site. These are strictly necessary for security and do not track you for advertising.
We do not control these cookies. Please see those services’ own cookie and privacy policies.
5.Server logs
Apart from cookies, our server records technical data when you load a page or submit a form, such as your IP address, browser type and the time. We use it only for security, preventing abuse and fixing faults. See our Privacy Policy.
6.How to control or delete cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Because the cookies we use are strictly necessary, blocking them will stop WhatsApp verification and the inquiry form from working, though you can still browse the website and contact us directly on WhatsApp or by phone. How to manage cookies in common browsers:
- Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security > Third-party cookies / Delete browsing data.
- Safari (iPhone and Mac): Settings or Preferences > Safari / Privacy > Manage Website Data.
- Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data.
- Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions > Manage and delete cookies.
To make our cookie notice appear again, clear this site’s data in your browser. We also honour browser signals such as Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track by the simple fact that we do not use tracking.
7.Legal basis
Strictly necessary cookies are used because they are needed to provide the service you ask for. Any non-essential cookie we may introduce in future would be used only with your prior consent, which you could withdraw at any time, in line with applicable law including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
8.Changes and contact
We may update this policy if our cookies or the law change; the date at the top shows the latest version. Questions about this policy can be sent to us:
